Charge Nurse

Nursing Department: Telemetry (Emerson Wing)

Salary Range: $53.14 - $83.80 Hourly

Management: No

Schedule: Full-Time 7:00 AM - 19:30 PM

Reports To: Sr. Director, Nursing Operations

Summary: Has shift responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the assigned unit. Coordinates patient care with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Responsible for the supervision of all assigned staff.

Requirements: Current California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and ACLS required. A minimum of one-year of supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of Title 22, DNV standards, and department-specific and national practice standards.Knowledge of Performance Improvement, care plan standards, staffing, and acuity.  In-depth knowledge of clinical practice within the assigned unit.
