Position: Manager, Quality/Risk Management (RN)

Department: Quality/Risk Management

Statue: Full Time 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Management: Yes, Exempt

Summary: Coordinates performance improvement activities for medical staff committees, hospital communities and Peer Review and health plan complaints. Coordinates and participates in the aggregation evaluation and reporting of PI measures/activities through the organization as outlined in the Beverly Hospital Performance Improvement Plan. Leads the root cause analysis investigations, events & insures follow-up / completion of action items. Supports survey readiness as it pertains to DNV, CMS, CDPH and Hospital standards.

Requirements: California RN required. At least 3 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting. Ability to think critically and work independently with limited direction. Ability to abstract pertinent information from medical records for peer review and quality measure abstraction and communicate effectively and directly with physicians and hospital staff for improvements. BSN or Masters preferred.
