RN, Dialysis Program Coordinator

Schedule: FT Days Variable

Reports To: Amin. Director of Acute Care Services

Summary: Responsible for effectively coordinating the Dialysis Program.  Also responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with any external DNV, American Dialysis Association regulatory requirements, CMS, and internal benchmarks.  Working with the Medicine/Family Medicine Chairperson to assist, direct, and negotiate through collaboration with physicians and staff to deliver care that ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and expected clinical outcomes.  Provide specialized nursing knowledge and expertise functioning with dialysis nursing experience, and as a consultant to medical/nursing staff, patients and families.

Requirements: BSN preferred. Master's Degree in Nursing, CDN Clinical Specialist preferred. 4 years of Acute Care Experience preferred. Evidence of skill in leadership, teaching, creativity, initiative, communication skills, and change process.  Commitment to uphold and provide care and services in a manner congruent with Beverly Hospital's mission statement.  8 hours of Dialysis specific education within the first year of position.  1-year experience with Dialysis patient care.  AHA BLS and ACLS required. CDN within 2 years of hire.
